It was great to meet all those that showed up at the gathering. Now I can put faces and personalities with the names. It was my first and it sure want be my last. I look forward to more gatherings. Thanks for the great time!

I'm waiting on great shots to be posted from you guys at the meet. Mine were about average. Nothing earth shattering. I chose something away from waterfalls and flowers to post. This pic is from the homestead at Ponca low water bridge.

Thanks!

Is this that fisheye?

Lack of sleep! I forgot to post info related to photo. Yes, this is the 10mm Nikon. ISo 100, F16 about 1/15 sec. I used "Hemo Fisheye" to correct the distortion factor.

Some of the weekend photos-

It was good meeting you and Karla too, Mike. I like your perspective on this interior shot. While I believe a fisheye should be used sparingly, this looks like the right place for it.

I agree with Bruce, the fisheye works well here. I like the interiors of old places like this myself, but my pics usualy end up looking like snapshots. Well done.

It was great meeting you and Karla. I really enjoyed our visit.

Mike, it was nice meeting you and Karla and your shot is really neat. I wish I had walked up to the old cabin now. Glad you guys made it back safely. I hope to post a few shots later tonight, I was wasted when I got home yesterday afternoon.

Hey Mike, Nice shot with a fish eye - I have never been a fan of them - but, this shot may make me a convert. It was nice meeting and talking with you and Karla. Thanks for joining the forum and attending the get together.

Mike, nice perspective in this shot, I like it. Maybe you could photoshop Karla into the bright window at upper right to complete the scene! Glad to hear you & Karla had a good time.

Mike,

Great shot! What really impressed me, though, was that I saw you two at church Sunday morning after your long day and late night!!!

See you soon!

Mike, I really enjoyed meeting and getting to visit with you and Karla. I don't know if I've ever seen a published shot of this old house, but this one should be! Great work, man. You might also try playing around with some B&W.

I'm very impressed with the shots you captured. That fisheye is nice. It was nice to meet you and your wife!
