Red Bush & El Stumpo
I took this a month or so ago, and just been unsure of it, but the more i bring it up and look at it, the more it grows on me. So am looking for your views of it. Was shot in the early morning after work one saturday, this stood out as i was walking past, and had to try to capture that bright glow. I thought of fancy names like Moses, or Burning Bush.... but hey, its a red bush and stump that just caught my eye. :) Heading towards you Oregon people next weekend for five days around The Dalles area and middle southern oregon maybe, if time permits, maybe will run into some of you. :)

The color is nice, it is just very busy. I hope this is helpful feedback.

Lots of looks and no comments... Yes Jesse, the forum certainly has trended that way lately.
Cliff: The bright colors attract my eye but the comp looks sort of all over the place - nothing really grabs me. I think a little more web sharpening might help some, and cropping out the strong trunk on the R side.

I think that i have just looked at the color and not the overall comp, i appreciate the feedback and Jesse, nothing is ever taken wrong with me, thats what these forums are for, good honest feedback, i did understand your first also. Thanks. :)

I agree with the above, great color but a little hard to focus. I like it a lot better if I web crop the tree on the right and the little group of trees on the far left, focusing more attention on the stump.
