Spent the weekend at the isle of Texel (The Netherlands) to host a bird photography workshop for a group of photographers wich turned out great.
We had lovely weather and the birds where very cooperative.
One of the species i was keen on getting some images of was the male Eider and i got what i was hoping for. Besides Eiders we also got Spoonbill, Bluethroat, Avocet, Redshank, Black-headed Gull, Tern, Shellduck, Ringed Plover, BT-Godwit, Marsh Harrier, Montaghue Harrier, Hen Harrier, Kestrel, Turnstone, Oystercatcher etc etc.

I like this a lot, Jeroen, especially the blurring at the wingtips. My only criticism is that the white in the cheeks looks a little blown on my monitor. Is there any way you can selectively tone it down?
Regards,
David

Hi Jeroen,
I hope you don't mind but I like the pictures on your website more then this one. It looks a little pale (in dutch "flets", I hope this is the correct translation). Hope you don't mind.
The website pic's looks great.

Well caught action & well composed.
The cheeks are a bit hot on my screen too.

Nice action, super bird. I tried cropping the light blue at the top out and prefer it that way

Thanks for your comments so far guys!
I agree the whites are very light but on my Apple monitor they still look allright but i know Apple monitors can take on some more contast/lighter colors then most PC monitors.
When i measured the color values they gave me 250, 245, 240 so that is indeed allmost blown out.
