Another light painting image. This one is from the Contrabando movie set in Big Bend Ranch State Park.
This time I was going for the lights are still on look so it was yellow gels on the flash units.
The set was much neater before the 2008 flood destroyed some of it. The keen eyed will notice the water line on the distant church. The stucco is gone on the lower 7 feet. One house was taken and the corral too. The well is broken and a couple houses have 3 feet of mud in them. But the cantina is still in good shape. So they were serving! :-)

Wonderful image. It looks like you have quite a bit of intentional wide-angle distortion in the image. Very compelling with the rich colors and contrast.

The vivid blue skies play nicely against the earth tones of the cantina. Looks like you might have a nice little series going Darren. Do you show your work?

The distortion is what you get at 10mm when you try to get all that sky. The rich blues are that right time of night to get blue sky and stars-truly a great time to photograph.
Wayne- I think ot could be a theme in a way. I put work up here, some on Flickr, my website and then some locally. I am active in our local camera club and take my landscape photography show to various local organizations if they are interested or need a speaker.
