I came up a day early to the gathering and spent Thursday evening knocking around Cedar Creek at Petit Jean. I was shooting the waterfall and happened to notice the incredible light show going on behind me. I totally forgot the falls after that. I love when I am fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time!
Love the golden light! Is this above or below the falls. I don't recognize the rocks. Nice!

Thanks Mike. This is just below the falls. If I remember correctly, I was standing on the first section of rocks just behind the jumble that lines the front of the plunge pool. This is the first cascade that drops from the pool.

Bryan, you caught the light just right on this one. I remember this spot from my trip two weeks ago. There is a lot to see along Cedar Creek. Well done.
Bryan I know this spot very well. I have probably made at least eight trips to Petit Jean this year. You have been once this year and captured a shot I would love to call my own. I love the color of the reflections in the water. Great job.
I had a blast shooting with you last weekend. I hope you can make it back soon.
Bryan, way to turn around! Sometimes the good shots are hiding behind you! Lovely light and great control with the highlights up there in the trees. Great to meet you this weekend. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Karla
