Spiderwort Macro
This is another macro shot from this past weekend from the Smith Creek area. For you guys that were waiting for me at the picnic table, this was what I was shooting  Sorry I made you wait, but I hope the result was worth it.

By the way, I discovered today one of the perils of laying on the ground shooting wildflowers. My right arm and my left leg have both broken out due to poisin ivy. You experienced guys knew to look out for that, didn't you?

It looks like it was worth making everyone wait. This looks better than mine, I didn't have enough depth. What is this poison ivy you speak of? I did manage to find a bunch of chiggers on my hike up the mountain at lost valley Sunday morning.

Very nice Bryan.
Last year luckily I managed to just take a picture of poison ivy without any bodily contact. It's a bummer I know.

Well done, Bryan, Sorry about the poison ivy, it is starting to get thick now.

This looks absolutely perfect Bryan. Great detail and nice lighting. Looks like you made the best of your time in the ivy patch. I love the light color of the Arkansas Spiderworts. They are so different from the darker blue/purple variety that we have here.

Five ticks, no poison ivy, and that is an absolutely beautiful image. Is this with that 100mm macro lens?
