It has probably been since the outing at Rod's place last year that I have been here and posted anything. I got into shooting sports and have not had too much time to do any nature stuff. I have one more month of shooting with the semi-pro football team and then I hope to get back in the woods and shoot my favorite subjects. I was able to get a few flower shots for a wildflower photography workshop that I did for the Missouri Department of Conservation a couple of weeks ago. It was lots of fun to at least get to talk about shooting flowers while you guys were in Arkansas doing the real thing. I am so jealous of everyone that got to experience Rod's cabin and share Sid's company. And then there is Merle's cooking.
Anyway, here is an image of Dutchman's Breeches that I took for the workshop. Hopefully I will get back here more often and post.

Dale,
Wish you could have joined us this year, maybe next.
Great job on the photo. I was looking for these all weekend but didn't find any. Good excuse to get back into the woods!
Welcome back.

Hey Dale, Good to see you back. It sounds like you have been kept busy with you sports photos. Since you sent me the info last year on the frame shop in Brighton - between my wife, her stitching friends and me - we have ordered well over 100 custom frames from them. The quality is very good and the value is outstanding.
Thanks again for the info..

Thanks Rod. Knowing how much fun last year was made it really hard to not go this year. Nice to see lots of new names here on the site.

Hey Merle. Glad you checked out the frame shop. It is a great place to get nice frames at a reasonable price.

It's good to hear from you Dale. Thinking about last years spring outing your name popped into my mind recently.
If you recall the day you, John M. and I were together is when I started getting the wildflower bug. And as you can tell I'm still at it.
Sounds like things have been going good for you. That's great to hear. Hope you get to check back often.

Hi Brad. I hope that getting you hooked on the wildflowers is a good thing. :) You have been posting some nice results in this past year.
I would like to meet up with you sometime that you are heading out towards the Flint Hills and see what that is like, Sounds like a missed a group outing there too.

Hi Dale. Nice work on the Dutchmen's breeches! These are one of my favorites to shoot early in the spring.

Sorry you weren't able to make to the gathering this year...hope to see you in the fall. Keep up the good work.
