Skagit Valley tulips
The tulip fields at Roozengaarde and Tulip town are at peak right now and are looking great. This photo is from the Roozengaarde field on Best Road, taken this morning.

Very cleanly composed, Greg. I like the fact that you worked the angles to get the diagonal symmetry as well as hide the bare dirt in between the rows. This would make a great image for a mother's day card, or something similar.

Very nice, Greg. I have yet to see somebody take an angle on the tulips like this.

Great shot. Lovely symmetry, indeed. And pink and green are always killer good, imho. I may have to make another trip. Thanks for showing this off.

Wish I could make it up there this year, maybe next. I echo Aaron's points exactly.

Interesting. Reminds me of a flag.

Greg, what was your vantage point for this photo? Were you up on a ladder?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I forgot that we're supposed to include technical details. This was taken from the roof of my truck to get the slightly elevated viewpoint. Used a 80-200mm zoom, at close to 200mm with a D300 (1.5x crop factor), f/22 to try to keep it all in focus; polarizer. Cable release, mirror lockup and tripod.

Nice job Greg! Super clean, super sharp and super graphic. A real eye catcher.
