Wait for it, wait for it. This one needs a bit of studying, I think. There are so many branches it is difficult to get separation on them. The idea here is that the blooming bushes inside the oaks were a very appetizing shot, but there was no getting close to them because they were too well defended by the oaks. At least I didn't have to pay any fees, so Todd and Nick can't start a political discussion on this post. Can they?
Ouch! Web compression killed my shot! Down to 50 on the save.
You wanna bet - I could swear I can see a sign that says "No trespassing" through the branches, past the green bush and over the hill - isn't that how you got to this spot to avoid the fees?
I like this image Morris, amoungst all the chaos of the oaks is fresh Spring green coming through, and I bet viewed larger there is a lot to look at, and alot of details!. I like the touch of green on the foreground forest floor too.
I agree, there is a hint of color among all the branches. It does have that anticipatory feel to it, waiting for spring. I am so ready for things to start blooming.
Organized chaos - is that an oxymoron? It describes this image. You found chaos and composed it so that is very appealing. I like it very much, and I'll bet it really rocks at a bigger size, where all the details can come out.

"There is trouble in the forest
and the creatures all have fled
As the Maples scream 'OPPRESSION"
And the Oaks just shake their heads...."

I like it! Of course this one needs to be printed large to take full advantage of it. Yeah, the jpeg compression has crunched it!!
If this were a large print hanging on my wall, I could study it for a long, long time! Great eye for seeing this and capturing the moment. The background colors is what really brings this alive.
