Went to Barr Lake last Sunday morning to see if I could capture any birds or eagles. They say there's over 300 species of birds there, and all I got a shot of was a robin lol. Oh well. I tried photographing birds (which I'm not very good at yet), and then I looked for stuff like reflections. I got this image before the sun rose too high. Only had a couple of hours to be out here, so I didn't get much, but hopefully I came home with a couple of keepers.

Yeah, I hate it when I forget to change my iso. Good thing is 400 still doesn't have much noise. This is a very nice shot. It could use a little more sharpening for the web, but the light and colors are really sweet. I like the lead in from the path and the canal.
I like the warm light and the tree reflecting in the water. This has a nice "countryside" feel that I miss from back home. Did you get any other compositions with the tree and the water? Looks like there might have been a lot to play with here.
Thanks, guys! At first, I didn't think much of the 1st image, but it's starting to grow on me, maybe because of the light.
Jamie, here's another shot from that morning, not of that same tree, but I thought I'd practice some intimate reflection shots.
Not sure about this one....a keeper, or no? Any advice appreicated. :)

Minor adjustments in contrast.
