Yellow Trillium
Hey ya'll! Sorry I missed everone at the Spring Gathering. Here is a flower I shot today in the National Forest near Wedington. I don't see a yellow trillium in my books but it must be. Anyone know about this?

Hi Glenn,

Actually, it's called green trillium, Trillium viridescens. It is the largest trillium in the Ozarks. Found only in SW MO, NW AR, and a smidgen in KS, OK, and TX. It looks like you may have picked up a mosquito on the right leaf.

Nice composition and depth of field with enough out of focus in the backround to obscure the wild chervil, Chaerophyllum procumbens.

Best,
Don

Hey Glenn, nice work with the trillium...an interesting variation of flower I haven't seen much.
