Hi all - Monte and I are now at the Far North of the north island, in Kerikeri, on the Bay of Islands. We had an amazing shoot at sunset tonight, with a double rainbow over the bay. Tomorrow we're driving to Cape Reinga, where the Pacific Ocean collides with the Tasman Sea. We're shooting a sunset, then a sunrise, there. Looking forward to it!

Some new pics online at my blog:

Hope all are well in the States; we'll be back in Colorado next week!

Very Nice Nat! I love the abandoned house, the rainbows and the boat in the bay....they are all great but those are my 3 favorites.

Nat, these are fantastic! I also love the abandoned house....it is my favorite. I like all the images, but I would have to say my second choice might be the simplicity of the reeds. I love the reflection and how it adds many more lines to the shot. :toast:

Wow, what a diverse collection of stunning images! I find it hard to choose a fave, but I sure do like "Reeds at Lake Wahapo." Well seen!

I like the Wanaka shot best mostly because I love the place.

Can't pick a favorite. They are all too good. What are you going to do with all of these wonderful shots you are getting from Downunner?

Thanks for the comments and feedback. As you might imagine I have loads more that I haven't been able to process quickly enough; everything I've posted is only what I could do with quick Lightroom adjustments.

Morris, I'm planning to do a Blurb book of the trip.

Wow, what great shots! It's hard to choose, but I really love the waterfall shot and the abandoned house. Nice set of images.
