Nick Moore is psychic
So, on my last post when I mentioned that hopefully Nick and Todd couldn't comment on any political issues with that particular post, Nick commented that he thought he saw a NO TRESPASSING sign in the bushes behind, and that was how I got around paying any fees. Well, turns out he was right! I had stepped over a gate of wire that was no more than 2' above the ground. Now the property was not posted, and there was no sign as Nick mentioned, but I was on private property. No sooner had I clicked off 3 shots when a man walked up above me. Not good! Well, I very politely asked if he minded if I was there taking pictures, and he said he thought it would be alright since I wasn't any farther onto the property. He turned out to be a really nice guy, and asked if I took any good ones to e-mail them to him. His name is Scott, and he was so gracious to even guide me back in to some amazing views of another valley. He is definitely getting e-mails, and prints.

So, Todd, it is no longer Morris' Perch, but Scott's Spot.

The first is his view where he has benches set up for taking in the evening. Too much foreground here, but it's what he sees from the benches.

The next one is without quite as much foreground.

And the third is a vertical.

I really like the sky in the second one, including the sun peeking out on the left. The green in the valley is finally signaling spring - thank goodness! I think the last one might look nice as a square crop, too. I nice series, for sure.

That second one ROCKS! :toast: Great story, too...

I really like that second image Morris, sweet light and real nice Spring greens in the meadow area!.

Morris, #2 gets my vote as well. Lovely blend of clouds, sun and green meadow - all very peaceful. What a view to have in your own backyard! :toast: Cliff

Also enjoyed your story, and #2 is a fine one indeed!
Where is this place? Not exactly, but a general locale for those of us not familiar with the terrain.

Thanks everyone for the comments so far, and Rene it was a relief that he didn't want to shoot me. I can't imagine how many people he might have to deal with as his property is right off the road.
Cliff, I would love to have that view every evening, or morning for that matter.
John, it is on the way up into the mountains right at the edge of the foothills southwest of Denver.
