Snowdonia Goats
Taken last weekend in a small NR near the coast. These animals are descended from stock which escaped many 100s of years ago (no-one is really sure) and have been living wild in the hills ever since. They're very skittish and getting a clear shot in woodland is not easy (rather like my local wild Red Deer). Maybe next time I'll get a good clear shot but until then, this the best I've got so far.

Techs: E-520. 50-200 + 1.4 TC @ 194mm, ISO 800. 1/160th @ f4.5. Cropped by about 1/3rd.

I helped with a study of wild/feral goats in Moffet Dale, Scotland some 30 years ago so know just how skittish these can be!

Shame about the front tree but I love the complimentary tones, one of those images the more you look, the more you see, it would make a great jigsaw puzzle image! :toast:

Nits covered, i like the photo, shows just the kind of habitat they choose to live in, well done   :wavey:
