Very nice Marek. Good detail in the bird. It would even be better if the eye was visible. But very nice as it is.

Shame about the eye, but another lovely flight shot of these lovely birds, well done   :wavey:

You say front lighting Marek - this is back lighting matey

If it's a backlit shot you are actually going for then you need perhaps 4 stops or more underexposure than your camera meter is telling you. That will silhouette the bird and make the background darker, just picking out the highlights.

If it is front lighting you are after then you need to 'up sun' from the subject.

Nice sharp capture and composition though :wavey:

i think it works as more of a silhoette shot as said before the eye is not shown and it is really hard to expose these guys in direct sunlight, its great that you actually captured the movement and the light through the wings is lovely.

Like it Marek, the light coming through the wings looks very nice, it gives the wings an almost transparent feel.

Very nice indeed, The translucent quality of the wings is quite special. Exposure looks good with lots of detail in both highlights and darker areas.
There does appear to be a very slight highlight in the eye if you look very closely but this would benefit from being lightened slightly IMO. A quick selection of the eye and an adjustment to the highlight slider using levels or curves would work wonders, especially on this smaller web version where small details like that are often lost.
