Well currently yours truly is killing time in Atlanta Airport before heading back to Denver. This past weekend I have been visiting family in hot and humid, Charleston, South Carolina. Yesterday morning I decided to get out and stretch my legs so I headed into the historic district to photograph something different.

Enjoy!
Jody

These are great...I really like #5. I was in hot and humid Texas this weekend and shot some different subjects to that I will post later today. It sure is nice to be back in dry Colorado.

Very, very impressive Jody! You really have a great eye to notice these details. You also did a great job with your DOF providing a clear subject and a great bohke (sp?) on most of the images. :toast:

Great job, Jody! I like #5 also, as well as 21 and 28. This type of self-assignment can keep an artist sharp. And a sharper Jody Grigg is a scary thing!

Well, it was well worth stretching your legs! Like Erik, I like the bokeh in the shots. What lens did you use? Wonderful work, Jody.

Really nice set of intimate images Jody!. Having lived in NC for 4 years I visited Charleston a few times, it certainly is a unique and interesting city, and reminded me more of Europe than the USA.

What have you wrought? Iron? Sorry, couldn't resist!

What a great series, I especially liked all the oof green backgrounds which really set the designs off well!

Looks like a great place to be a wrought iron artist!

Jody, nice capture of detail and pattern. I like them all, but #'s 5, 6, and 13 jump out at me. Very nice.
