Bullfinch courtship
Watched these birds for some time, and was amused by their behaviour. The female was, between courtship behaviour, nest building - whilst the male watched her but did no work at all!!
Don't much like the back twig, but cloning looked a bit messy!
Exposure Time = 1/800"
F Number = F6.3

ISO Speed Ratings = 400
Shutter Speed Value = 9.63 TV

C & C very welcome

Hi Kim,

Nice bit of behaviour you have caught there, well done!

The lighting was obviously very harsh and the rumps are blown. Have you cloned something out top left and bottom right?

Lewis.

That's a great action shot Kim.
Bit contrasty but you could sort that.
Cheers

No haven't done any cloning at all, yes the light was full mid-day and these two were really a bit too far away, but could not resist taking them. Was stuck in a hide - with no choice really about where to position myself.

agree with jon, but to me looks like you may have used the patch tool and moved the top left corner in an inch and down 10mm

Great behaviour. A little tight in frame but it sounds as if you have more room.

Wish I could see more of this type of shot without the branch in the background but then it wouldn't be a straight shot.
