another shot from a day at the barn owl centre. I love the eye contact the owls give you and this setting with the barn owl in a little stone alcove was to hard to resist.

Nikon D300, 80-200mm Lens, F2.8, 1/2500, ISO200

Hi Ben

Nice use of a captive bird to illustrate the species' association with man (or 'man-made' structures).
Would have liked the foot to have been in the frame, particularly with this being a controlled situation. Other than that I think the image is really appealing, especially the differential focus effect.
