Low level kestrel enviro shot
After a frustrating time trying to get a shot of this chap hunting, he finally plummeted to earth and I thought I'd lost him. A few minutes later he shot out again and I managed to squeeze off a few shots. This was the best of the bunch. Despite the softness/lack of detail, I like the 'bird over the buttercups' and thought I'd post for your comments.

Canon 1D MkII

ISO 400

Sharpness isn't an issue for me - great environmental shot! Unusual to get one like this.

I really like this one especially with the meadowy feel in the background.
