It's a lovely image Graham. I'm intrigued by your comment about "no other processing", as I was reading an interesting thread earlier about processing here http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/bbs.cgi?a=vm&mr=42292&CGISESSID=5756d75a30f14aaac2a66a1a18d0abd0&u=30091. Ultimately, you either rely on the camera's own software to process it automatically, or you put your own stamp on it. The only thing I might do is a little sharpening around the face.

Lovely shot Graham, great looking BG and I like how the sunlight is catching those wattles.

A well composed & very colourful image in nice light.
Agree with Ian on the face sharpening.

Lovely lighting and setting - face needs a wee bit of sharpening as has been said.

Lovely shot, agree about a tiny bit of sharpening to the head. Beautiful warm light and lovely colours. Nice shot!

Nits already covered but it's a great image. I might have taken out a couple of bits of grass from the extreme left and on the 'horizon' to the right of the bird. Other than that it works for me.

Very nice. Some sharpening would finish it off nicely. :toast:
