Greylag Goose in Environment
1D2n, 600mm f4 is, 1/100s, f4, iso 200. First light of day. Removed intrusive branch.

Some nice light and rising mist on Loch Tummel created a lovely atmosphere. The spring foliage is at its best. The geese are nesting on the island (where the tree is). I have rowed to the island and slept under the stars there before, but didn't hang about on this occasion as there are nests everywhere. A bit different - hope you like it.

Great atmosphere, nice approach. Might liked to have seen the goose lower in the frame but just a minor nit.

A nice change.

Cheers,
Chris

I really really like this. It's a moody image with a vast sense of environment that is held together well with all aspects of the image. Nice work and thanks for sharing with us.

Thats good... well seen and taken.... a very minor thing and not a nit as there is nothing you could do... it would have been nice if the goose had obliged and faced into the image.

As it is this is a truly serene and beautiful scene...
