Photo of one of my favorite waders; The Sanderling, this one was up with the 'larks' feeding at Brancaster bay,Norfolk, He's a little small in the frame, but I like the atmosphere and the setting to this image. Thanks for looking.

Great light for this little one Craig and agree with Jeoren about the CCW rotation. Something missing for me though, not sure what yet, but I keep coming back to it.
HI Craig, not silly at all and thanks for asking the question, it's how we all learn. It means Counter Clockwise Rotation and the numbers simply relate to the degrees in which to rotate the image. Have a look at both ends of the water-line which the bird appears to be standing on. The left appears higher than the right, although this is quite natural it looks a little 'lop-sided' to the viewer..
The repost look much more level... looks like you might have edited a reduced size image as the bird looks a little softer and there is a halo starting to show in places, when you can and doing a repost try and work a larger or full size image.
Love these birds as well and this is a good image showing the habitat well with a good low PoV, only minor nit is that the bird is facing slightly away from you, not a lot you can do about that as they never do as they are told
I like this Craig and can see what people are talking about, 1st one needing rotating and 2nd one a little soft but i'm sure thats something you can easily deal with. My eye gets drawn to the while 'blob' above and to the right of the birds head, prob nothing, I've been listening to too many club judges..........lol.
Thanks everyone, andy i think they are the white caps of the waves, i've replaced the second one with this one, again thank you to brett for telling me what CCW was,I joined this forum to make myself a better wildlife photographer, learning from brett and the many other talented photographers on here helps me tremendously, Thanks

I think a little CCW rotation (-1.4 i guess) would make this stronger.
Great light!

Hope that helps.
