Cedar Creek Side Cascade
Here is a shot from the last major side cascade to enter Cedar Creek before one gets to the falls. This is where the 40D
hit the rocks and kept right on working for me

Looks good Bob, the image has nice depth and really good colors. Nice water flow too, I am thinking about heading that way in the morning.

Glad your camera kept the faith when it took a dive. The prosumer cameras are much more substantial than the rebel series. They have to stand up to all those wedding photogs. The guy who shot my son's wedding set his spare camera down and one of the bridesmaid kicked it down 10 concrete steps, lens, flash and bracket included. Everything survived thank goodness.

I don't know whether to say sorry about your camera or congrats that it's still working. In any event your episode says a lot about the durability of the equipment nowadays.
