1ST Water Vole
Well my 1st decent Vole image. it was my 2nd visit to this site & I have hundreds of shots but I dont have many keepers. Not the easiest of subjects but great to watch.

Canon EOS 20D, 300mm F4, F4, 1/200th, ISO 200, -1/3 exp.

All comments welcome

A good shot. Well composed and an interesting setting.

I agree Lee they aint the easiest .In this instance I would say this is def a keeper .Nice reflection ,the highs tend to pull the eye top of frame a tadge but no biggy.Love the feet. A light pass of burn in the highs and mids improved the reflection for me. :toast:

Hi Lee,

I like the image and reflection. The top half might benefit from darkening down a touch.

Cheers

Nice shot, i recognise the hole  nice reflection too. I think a touch os highlight recovery would help bring in the light areas and help the image.

A big thanks to all for the comments & advice. No they are not an easy subject to get a good sharp image of
I will have to learn how to burn (i bearly touch images except a few basics) in PS to rectify those bright areas which until mentioned I must confess had not noticed  Again thanks everyone :toast: :jump:
Oi Shep, I will get the monopod & card to you tomorrow
