Magnolia Falls
I caught the water levels just right Tuesday. Last Saturday the water was too high and muddy to get a good image. (The rain was moving the leaves also.) The azaleas were starting to bloom also.

This looks good Glenn. The water color looks great and I like the way you framed with the trees.

Glenn, I agree with Dale, great framing of the scene. I especially like the way you have included the foreground elements. One suggestion, you may try cropping out the sky and see if if would make a great shot even stronger.

Glenn a beautiful scene and nice job on the composition. Glad you were able to catch it at such a nice level with good conditons.

I saw a few magnolia blooms here yesterday, but most were turning brown and were weather-beaten from the rain... :frown:

Thanks for the comments. That day in the rain the magnolias were blooming nicely but here they had turned brown. My daughter and I hiked to the top of this waterfall and on down the bluff on the south side of the creek to the next waterfall and saw many azaleas blooming and about to bloom. Beautiful day. Tom, I've cropped the sky out and it does look good but for some reason I like this with more green. I'm torn between the two.

A beauty Glenn! This wonderful setting is the polar opposite of where I spent last week. Good conditions perfectly captured! Thanks for sharing.
