my first (image)post in the UK Forum, I usually hang out/post in the fauna gallery and I have been looking at all the wonderfull stuff here as well, so I thought it would be time to post some of my own
The image was shot in Scotland on a workshop with Peter (Cairns), the Owl is named Cedar and a wonderfull cooperative 'little' fellow!
Thank you for looking!

Nice post to get you under way. Lovely detail in the Owl and nice colours. Background colours a re lovely, think the rock in the foreground maybe a bit to dominating though.
I also come here quite a lot to check out the fantastic images posted, always good inspiration because I'm going to be trying a lot more photography in the UK in the coming months. (I'm not back in Africa until at least October ). It'll be good to have a familiar fauna face
Welcome Jorne seen your work from time to time on the fauna forum so great news that you have decided to come over to here you should get honest feedback on here. Although some of them you have to watch out for mainly that tall dutch fellow and that rather large one from up north

Wonderful pose and the way the light is picking out the pale edges of the wings and tail is a bit special.
I like the rim lighting effect around the owl and the BKGR is super. Rock already mentioned and I see it was typical Scottish weather that day.
