No Time To Waste - Dipper
This photo means the world to me, not the photo itself but the nature of it, I've been dedicating alot of my time watching two pairs of dipper's, keeping almost a photo diary of them and their movements, etc, and two weeks ago there was no sign of the second pair, they'd gone, and for days there was no sign,no call's nothing, I've watched the first pair and they are doing great, three chicks about to fledge brillant, then today was the first time i'd seen the second pair, there back!!,hastily building their nest at double quick time, and this is the male building that nest  the backdrop is dramatic with bits of dirt/water flying up due to falling water above. Sorry for the long tale, I just wanted to share this special moment/event with you all, Thanks For Reading/Looking

Hi Craig,

It's a great image with an equally great story. It's lovely when something you think has suffered a terrible fate, suddenly appears Nice detail in blacks and white's. A well composed shot and nice to have a beak full of nesting material.

Regards

Rob

Very nice Craig,

Without reading the story I would say you need to clean your sensor!

Cheers

Ahh thats a nice shot, like the beak full of green.

I will be heading up to a spot in derbyshire with my sister today, there is a pair right next to the road, which is really handy as I'm suffering a very bad ingrowing toe nail so I carn't walk too far, watched their chicks fledge last year, just hope the weather holds.
