Hello Craig

Nice pose on the wagtail and they are not easy birds to photograph but the background completely ruins the image for me as its that in between where it needs to be completely clean or closer where there is some detail in it. Maybe if this is a regular perch why not try moving it closer to your hiding place and then that will throw it out more. I also think the colour is wrong somewhere as the water looks a strange green colour.

Hi Craig,

That is great action. The foot slightly raised and food in the beak really lift this picture. The dark and light patches in the BKGR are not ideal but I would be glad to have this in my collection.

Cheers

Hi Danny

The water was green so ok there and the perch was attached to a large willow tree on the other side in about ten feet of water so have to make do with whats available I'm afraid.

Good action shot. I don't have a decent shot yet despite a few attempts. Shame about the background, but hopefully you'll get more opportunities.
