Taken a few weeks back in the warm weather up in Scotland. Just love these guys, wished I had more of the low level POV. Possibly a little too central, but you have to grab the moment. Perhaps a little additional canvas & a crop may improve?

Very nice, love the 'alert' pose and the 'hands', great background/detail, works well for me in the center too.

Really nice complimentary colours Steve, although I'm not too keen on the dead centred approach. Thats always personal of course!
great shot

Well Steve, it's a critique forum
For me it's too tight at the bottom, and the head-on pose isn't really working for me either - sorry squire

Love the image Steve!! Super light and detail.
Speaking as a non pro, my preference would have been to see it in portrait format, with a little more in the foreground.
Great stuff though, and an image to be proud of.

Definately an inquisitive pose and a most appealing one.

Hello Stephen.
Nice pose and good detail, also like the background.
Think I would have like it even more in vertical format.

Hi Steve,
Lovely tones and pin sharp where needed.
I agree with Andy, too tight at the bottom.
Cheers

Good pose, he looks like hes caught your scent.
Nice Bg & nice details.
A portrait crop may be worth a try.
