Spent a fair few hours over the last couple of days watching a pair of long-tailed tits feeding young. Too windy to expect anything today as the perches would be all the place. Maybe get another chance at the weekend if I'm not too late

Very nice Cheryl! I have done the self same thing over the last weekend, they are very entertaining and make great subjects! Sadly I was too late when I returned to my lot on Tuesday :frown:

Regards,

Fran :toast:

Well I shall have to hope you were more unlucky than I might be Fran :

Weather looks OK for tomorrow afternoon, so I shall head over there then. Bit of a trek, but if I could get to see the youngsters fledge then it would be worthwhile.

Hi Cheryl.
A good relaxed pose and the background is nice. Only thing that spoils it for me is the bird looking a bit dark, especially his lower half being in shadow.

You're right Justin, but it's just the location of the perches are surrounded by much higher trees, so cast a shadow most of the day from one angle or another. When the light was much softer the birds just never appeared. :frown:

Nicely done Cheryl, Lovely BKGR.
Possibly a bit central for some peoples tastes.

Cheers
