It's been a while since I've posted anything, but here is one that I just post-processed from out of the archives. This is during epic early snow of 2006 (the road was littered with downed trees and deep snow at higher elevations). Marcellina Mtn is a favorite of mine and I really like the unique conditions.

P.S. Right around the corner from here I bumped into our most famous Colorado photographer.
Wow, that's nice! Not only a lot of mood and contrast of elements, but very crisp looking.
I remember the storm and was there a week or so later when all that was left was a bunch of busted down trees and rather naked branches. Though I can't say that I'm sorry I missed that big snow.
Ooh, thanks Morris! You're now my favorite Colorado photographer! But I'm not sure if I even qualify as a Colorado photographer anymore, seeing how little time I've spent shooting in Colorado lately. As for Todd & Erik, I think you're all confusing the terms famous and infamous! According to Alexa.com, Jack Brauer is the most famous (though I'm bigger than him in India )

And I specifically remember talking to you on the phone that day about the downed trees. But it was all worth it, huh?

Oh, and this is a great shot!
