Roaring Fork
From a couple weeks ago. Clouds where blowing around the day this was shot, so it was a hurry up and wait kind of thing... get setup then the clouds would move leaving a nice bright sun.

Canon 5D, 17-40, tripod, large rock :)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or comments!

Nice as usual Thomas. It does seem that the highlights are hot, at least on the laptop. I'm not getting any detail in the center of the whitewater. The laptop does have brighter highlights than my desktop though so everything might really be fine. I'm to lazy to go downstairs and turn on the desktop to check.

TB,

I agree about the hotspots, but you've chosen a very dynamic composition!

Thanks guys!! I see those warm spots today, re-calibrated my monitor this afternoon. I knew they where border line.

Nicely done Thomas, another vote for the hot spots though.

Nice shot Thomas. Maybe a small adjustment on the hotspots, but for me, they are pretty minor
