A juvenile Indigo Bunting, taken in Missouri.

A larger version may be viewed on my site, www.OzarksPhotos.com

Thanks

Larry

Well captured like the eye catch-light.

Lovely bird. First class capture with clean background and cache light.

Evidently an immature due to the mottling of the feathers. I have only seen a few in South Arkansas this year.

very nice capture Larry. The perfect DOF really makes this little guy pop! This size doesn't do it justice but the one on your website is great. I especially liked the juvi oriole. :toast:

Thank you all.
Barry, enjoy Kansas and welcome to the USA.

Daniel, due to one of your previous comments I finally broke out the SB-900, mounted remotely and the SU-800 on the camera.

Ed, thanks for the comment you placed on my site also.

A beauty Larry. The good clean background makes your subject really pop. Wonderful feather detail even at this small size. I'd be tempted to clone out the bright arching twig in the bg in this case. Thanks for sharing.

great detail Larry. I saw my first bird of this species this morning foraging below our feeders, a beautiful adult male.

You've built a very impressive portfolio on your website, Larry, and this makes a nice addition. Great detail and background.
