Well, not quite a rabbit anyway.

Just spent a long weekend in North Norfolk and spent a long time watching 3 hares and predicting where they were going in order to get a few shots. This guy eventually got too close for me to focus.

Almost full frame, levels and sharpening.

Camera: Canon EOS-1D Mark III
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1250)
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal Length: 700 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV

Not sure how sharp this is Graham? Like the pose & colour, but guess we both suffer from lack of foreground :toast:

Only real nit for me Graham is it's just too tight at the bottom of the frame. It needs some foreground under it to balance the image.

Nice pose and light and a cracking background :wavey:

Sounds as if you had a great time and what a luxury to have them too close! Nice pose and caption and a good non-distracting BG. I think I'd have preferred a little more room particularly at the bottom and I'd be tempted to clone out the dark stuff at the top with some of the lighter stuff.

What a pose and look and that scar? Looks sharp enough for me .Perhaps a tadge off the top and bit more FG at the bottom?
