Backyard Bandit
Definitely NOT a bird!

This little bandit is a regular visitor to our bird feeders (he climbs a 1/2" metal pipe to get to one) and the food bowls we set out for a family of feral cats in our backyard.

40D, 500mm, f/4.5, 1/320s, ISO 640. Cropped about 20%

He looks very young. I actually did a U turn on top of Petit Jean today trying to get a shot of a Raccoon that was crossing the road. He didn't hang around though. Weird seeing something other than a bird from you. Good shot though, I like how he is peaking over the wood.

From the way he is looking at you makes me wonder if he was wondering why you didn't bring more food for him.

Great shot, Daniel. You are making good use of that big glass!

Great shot, Daniel. Coons are kinda fun to watch for awhile, but can become a real nusance around a bird feeder. Guess they're better than a big ol' black bear hanging around though ...

A cute little bandit he is! You captured him in a great pose and I like the mischevious glint in his eyes. Did you use fill flash?
