I'm not having much luck with the foxes and badgers lately and the early morns are killing me.So , one from the tail end of the hard drive .I would welcome C/C's on this, a picture on my shortlist for an up and coming club entry .

Superb. The background colour looks stunning & the Deer is nicely framed by the trees.
Nice comp too. :toast:

I really like this, sure it looks better printed than it does on the web.

The idea of movement in the leaves add to the effect, which I want to describe as isolation, but it does not quite convey what I mean. :wavey: Sorry brain not fully working today - if I think of it later I'll post again - if not I'll have to wait for someone more eloquent to say it for me

Its very nice Mark, however I am not sure about the blurring of the leaves/branches... but thats just me...

Now this looks nice Mark, but I echo Phils concern over the blurring - I like it on the small thin twiggy bits but I think it might look a bit heavy and clumpy on the thicker branches closer to the lens.

There's a funny 'edge' to the tree trunks too - the left one looks over-sharp and the right one looks like you've over-brushed something.

Sounds like I'm being picky, but if you want to put it in a comp matey.....

Good job I'm not judging

Nits covered, apart from that I think this is a stunner. Love the framing too.

thanks all for the kind words and most importantly the advice, thanks Andy and Phil.Yep Danny thank you too, Padawan Mark is pleased if Obiwan is too!Just inspirational.
I have done a touch of rework on a new Tiff from Raw and not totally erradicated the bur but knocked it back a bit. I felt in the original the branches were far too sharp and detracting from the main subject. .So thanks again all.Still not sure if its a keeper .

Both versions appeal to me - superbly framed.
