Gannet Land
Another one from Bass Rock, this time taken with my FujiGX617, scanned on a professional scanner to give me an 850MB tiff, which quite frankly leaves my 1DS MkIII for dead!

Obviously it just looks silly at 720px wide, so theres a larger version here

Fuji GX617
90mm SWD 5.6
Velvia 50
1/30th
Centre filter

I'd love to see this in LAAAAARGE resolution!! Even 1280 doesn't do it justice I bet! I like the slow shutter speed blurring the ones in flight, really nice. I've wanted to visit Bass Rock for a while, I bet it's an amazing experience - if you can survive the boat trip across

And and I read your using Ultra III cards, try using Extreme 4 and your buffer problem in your 1D3 should reduce drastically

it does look good large, the scan is 21k pixels across so you lose an enormous amount resizing to 720/1280 lol! trouble is even at 1280 at decent quality jpeg its 500KB so getting at the limits for the web really..

Bass Rock is great, its a bit overwhelming at first but you soon get into the groove.. And I just love Gannets, they're such great birds full of character and they're very pretty in great light, I recommend you do go at some point.

Ps, just saw edit - i'm going to give the extreme IVs a blast before I go again.

Hello Tim.

I would guess that this does look good at full res, but just gets lost at this 720 size.

I have alot of landscape I would like to post but they just lose there impact at this size.
