Timeless Light
An even smaller extraction from a different image than my last post from Mesa Arch. The place is magical, no denying that.

5D, 24-70L @ 70, 1/60 @ f/19, ISO 100, soften image with NR, 50% + crop.

Wayne, this is a wall hanger. Great job on the extraction. I would be proud to have the cropped or full version hanging on my office wall.

Love the earth tones. Great work. Can't wait to see more from your trip!

The soft look and earthy tones work together to make this a peaceful image, well done Wayne.

Great fine art composition Wayne. The color and processing are pretty sweet too.

Oh my goodness Wayne! You really captured the magic in this one. However, I would like to see just a touch more detail in the foreground rock formations. A little selective brightening in those areas would add some more visual contrast, but not enough destroy the soft, warm feeling of the image.

Again, a marvelous image. I may wish to buy a print.

Neat shot Wayne. Nice light. I actually favor the first image more. It is hard to get anything original in this location. When I was there one morning I composed a similar view then in processing I had part of another photographers camera in the shot, not sure if he moved or I just didn't notice him. Always a crowded place.

What can I say but 'wow'.

Man, what a masterpiece, Wayne! The light, warm colors, and layering give this such a great mood. Definitely one of your best... :toast:

BTW, let me know if you need a canvas proof on anything. I'll be printing up a few next week and would be happy to throw yours in with the rest to be sprayed.
