Can anyone help me?
I am looking for either a Canon EF 400mm f2.8 OR a Canon EF 500mm f4. Must be optically perfect but not overly worried about the cosmetics.
Thanks in advance,
Arron

Arron,
Not sure what your application for this lens would be, but I have owned the 400/2.8 and it is a heavy lump of glass!! a 500/4 on the other hand is easy to hand hold for a time.
Regards

The 400mm lens would be used predominantly in the hides, on beanbags or occasionally out in the field. The 500 would maybe get a bit more use.
Chris I have sent you my email address, thanks.
