fluff ball
Mallard duckling from river Elan

I'm always tickled by just how fast these little fellows can shoot about, even upstream, they are all webbed fee and no weight. A group of 9 ducklings were roaming very freely from a very chilled-out mother, clearly no predators on this stretch of the river.

Superb details & nice surroundings (& a cute subject) make this a nice looking image.
Love the low POV, how did you get that low? looks like you needed a snorkel & mask.
It is suprising how quickly these little birds shoot about on the water.

No, no snorkal and flippers, just a £5 camping tripod stool, modified with 3x walking stick rubber feet to spread the leg load and stop that sinking feeling..... a bit of camo scrim, and breaking up my outline by sitting in front of a tree. The tripod is not even at ground level, - I am getting too old for all this crawling about on the ground

Nice, I like the little water droplets on the back.
