Little River Scene
A shot from last month. Just looking for some thoughts.

Hey Lance did you get my reply to your question??

Yes I did, Tom. Thanks very much and I apologize for not sending you a Thanks sooner.

My thought on this shot....beautiful treatment of the water. It feels like it's coming right into my lap. Excuse me while I get a towel.

Nice shot. I love the water on the left, however the large bright root is what draws my eye the most. Might experiment with a selection layer and decreasing the brightness on the root also for a different look.

Thomas crop everything but the upper right 1/5 of the image.  I'm really more interested in that little cascade dumping in the stream than the root centric foreground. If there were some redbuds or dogwoods on the opposite river bank it would help to add more general interest in this shot.

I like the scene and this is a good shot. The composition does seem a little "broken up".

Nice shot Thomas. The lrc doesn't seem as interesting as the rest of the image. For me, a crop from the right to a 4x5 might be an option as well as burning the hilites in the tree root to lessen its impact on the rest of the scene. Just some thoughts - hope it helps
