Pheasant
Hi all

As you can see, this isn't a hare. But it should be. Hares mess me around. They really don't deserve my attention. Big eared elusive gits! Rant over. (You don't think any hares read this forum, do you?!)

Pheasants I like  They're one of natures posers. God bless 'em.

I really like this! Excellent pose and composition makes it stand out nicely. And the OOF fore and background work well too :toast: :toast:

Really nice, I like the OOF foreground and love the low POV, great pose and colour, but its that virtual legs thing again, a bit higher in frame would make all the difference!

very nice image, the pose and composition are exceptional, as it the light, can't help but wish there was a little less mush here though, mind you everyone else seems to like it so it's probably just me

Nice one Simon.
Just a pity about the foreground.
Cheers

But I put myself into an extremely uncomfortable position just to get that foreground, John!
Guess the diffuse focus effect is something you either love or hate.

A very nice image indeed Simon. Love the mush and the the light on the bird. Perhaps a little more f/g mush would benefit, but that's just me  Love it!

Great shot I think.
Only nit I have is the fact that the OoF foreground (which I do like) take a little to much of the bird.

I call foreground mush the marmite effect. People either love it or hate it.

I like this but then I'm a sucker for pheasant images, so much more colourful than them big-eared hares :wavey:

Very nice indeed, have to agree with Nigel in wishing for a tad more room at the bottom.
