fox pups
I found this den in a lot between two houses. Unfortunately, I only had one photo encounter with them from the road. I went and asked permission from land owners about a week later and set a blind. Three days prior to setting up the blind I did not see the pups out and about (normally always out). I am thinking that the owner's dog had something to do with it. I was surprised to see five pups. The adult fox must be very busy. Just my luck! They must have been moved. I thought I would post this image while I was getting ready for the NEPN Spring Outing. Looking forward to meeting other members.

Hi Peter! How cute! I've seen 5 kits this season but only got 4 in the shot. How marvelous (and amazing) that they are sitting still (kind of ) for your shot.

My sister will be here in a couple of hours so I won't be going to the get together. I have the time off too. Oh well. Hope you have a great time! But next time you come up my way, let me know!!

Lovely, natural and cute! You never know what you'll find -- go for a walk and see an eagle -- set up a blind and ???

Great moment...
