From last weekend. The overcast rainy skies made any form of in-flight photography tricky so the best chances were of low flying birds against a backdrop. Pity about the head turn tho'

Hi Mike, although it is raining I think you made a nice sharp picture.

That's a good'un Mike. Not a lot you can do about the head turn unless you hold a lump of meat out of the hide.

Excellent shot! I like the habitat, especially the flowers. Ideally, the yellow one would have been further in but not much you could do about that! I don't mind the head position as it looks perfectly natural. I'd love to have taken this.

Works well for me in the conditions you mention. I'd be glad of something like it. As you mentioned shame about the head turn but can't have everything. Nice work.

I would not have noticed the head turn if you had not mentioned it. A lovely shot in what were obviously poor conditions.
