(c) Golden Eagle
Another image from Scotland, this Golden Eagle was about to land on his well deserved snack when the sun broke through the clouds for a moment illuminating the scene.

Thank you all for looking and all comments welcome ofcourse! :wavey:

It is a truly wonderful shot and a good sense of movement and purpose. I would have liked a little more room around the bird myself as I feel it is a bit tight in the frame. Otherwise well executed.

Wow thanks for the comment and especially the vote Craig! I'm so blind, I totally missed my image being selected for that competition until you told me, THANKS! :wavey:

You've made the most of the captive shoot - the pose and light work nicely together.
I'd agree with Brett about the tightness of the composition, but it is a lovely image.

Cheers,
Chris

Excellent image Jorne. The light catching the talons really makes it.

As mentioned, slightly tight in the frame but a cracking shot all the same :wavey:

Apart from the small nit re space, it's a big thumbs up from me. You've timed it well. :wavey: :toast:

Jorne

I'm at a slight advantage as I was present at the time! Superb pose but a tad tight and a little too saturated I feel - calm the orange head down just a wee bit and then it's a cracker.

Thanks again everyone, I reall apreciate the comments! :wavey: :toast:

Pete: I have to thank you for making the shot possible at all! I agree on the saturation indeed, been messing around with the best amount of saturation for webconversion but have not found the ideal mix yet
