Compton Triple Falls
Following a couple of days behind Bill Dark my wife and I made it down to Compton falls yesterday after the rain. Apparently at the right water level it goes from a double to a triple. While we were next door at Owl falls some college students showed up. I've been coming down to this falls since 1985 and that's the first time I've seen someone else there.

Very nice! I like the light coming through the canopy. I need to hike down in there sometime.

Great picture and exposure. Personally I'd crop off just the bottom edge showing the river water. :toast:

Hey Bruce, I ran into you down at the bottom of the falls. I think I like yours from this spot better than mine. After going into Bowers and then here i slept like a baby last night!

I like your composition Bruce. I planned to go there two weeks ago but didn't make it until today. That's quite a hike out! I'll post one of mine soon. I saw people tracks here and there. I thought it was Bill's at first. Now it looks like there's lot of interest in Comton. We also hit Amber falls on the way down. Big tree in the falls. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful composition, Bruce, and the backlit magnolia leaves give it lots of depth. Nice work.
