It's not great, I know but it is my first osprey shot, so I thought I'd post it. I watch this chap fishing most days on my way into work. He kills his fish on a telegraph pole right beside a very busy trunk road but I haven't yet identified a safe place to stop and catch this. Light was very poor this morning but I will try again if the weather improves next week.
You're lucky to have this wonderful bird so close at hand. A few more hours of observation and I'm sure you'll be getting some cracking shots. Looking forward to seeing more !
Thanks for sharing your early work with these birds and well done on such poor conditions. I look forward to seeing your work continue with these birds and they are one of my all-time favourite..
Super first shot of this bird. Wish we had them close at hand in Nottinghamshire but I think the nearest we have is Rutland water. Definately a worthwhile project to keep you busy.
great first shot, try again at dawn or dusk to get low light and a blue sky with a few white clouds. Nice to be able to drive to work past one each day.
