Nice one Jeff, he looks a bit wet! Classic Mara colours here, very nice. I do miss the eyes a bit, maybe you could find a bit more detail in them in processing.

Lovely shot, more my kind of subject

hi billy

many thanks, do you go on safari much ?

We (wife and me) have been on safaris to botswanna, kruger park and kenya, have to say kenya is the tops for wildlife, most people over look the birdlife in these countries, but both mammals and birdlife is just fantasic - will post more shortly

hope you enjoy

Hi Jeff,

You could say that! I grew up in Kenya, and my parents still live there. I'm just about to finish uni over here, but I still manage to spend a lot of time out there!

Makes my safari park stuff look crap but I'll never see your wild guys so too bad.
Some of us will never get there.
Cheers

hi john

your safari park shot is great , magnificent animal

big cats in the parks or in the wild are a great sight, normally with park animals in greater condition and long may parks contuine their great work, after all it gives all people a chance to view these great cats, because most are in decline - lions, tigers, cheetah, leopard and jaguar all at risk from man and land grag, with very small wildlife numbers left, hopfully with nature reserves and well managed captive parks, these great mammals can contuine to be part of our future heritage - i hope you agree, so parks can play a great part in preserving these big cats and other great widelife mammals/preditors

I like the way hes looking straight down the lens & the flies on his face. Nice details & the square comp suits well.
