Camas
Got back from a little trip, computer dead, fixed now and here we were out and about on the washington side of the columbia and saw all these flowers on a hill side, we took a stroll up there and there were these two guys laying in this field of flowers and .... no, not that, they were picking them for tea. So i gabbed with them for awhile finding out what they were. Thought the tree was in nice contrast with the rest of the view. Canon 5d, iso 100, f/32 at 400mm. Comments and critiques appreciated. :)

I love the contrasting warm and cool colors in this. I'm trying to decide if a crop from the top to eliminate the yellow grasses in the URC makes any kind of improvement??

I see what you are seeing. :) Thanks for the input. Cliff

It looks like a Monet! Beautiful!

And I like the yellow grasses in the URC. They balance the similar colors in the LLC. I love how the "background" colors are diagonal and while the tree and flowers are vertical. Can you tell I really like this image?

Was the tree tilted? I wonder if a rotation to straighten it out would work. I really like this image...I hope those folks who were lying in the flowers checked for ticks afterwards. If it was shot near Camas, maybe they don't have anything to worry about

Thanks Susan, and Mark H. Eric, I had remembered someone taking about ticks this year in this area, so every night after walking around i checked for them, luckily didnt find any. And this was near, Stevenson, if i remember right. :)
