Whitaker Creek Azaleas
While thrashing through the woods looking for Amber Falls Thursday we came across one of the larger Azalea patches I've seen. Here's my pick of the shots I got there. They are somewhat worse for the wear but I'm a fan of watersoaked flowers wherever I find them.

Thrashing though the woods....I cand SO identify with that term. I was in this area on Saturday and I know I left more marks on the trees and bushes thanthey left on me. It was a brutal slugfest. Plant life almost wore me down, but I did persevere. It was really beautiful in that area.

The blooms really pop against the dark background Bruce. Sounds like a fun day despite all the efforts.
